Sironko FDC leaders fume over unfilled pledges ahead of the president’s visit.

FDC leadership in sironko district has vowed not to welcome HE. Yoweri Museveni on his visit to the Bufupa landslide victims in Masaaba sub county, Sironko district. 
Gidongo Fred the Buwalasi sub county councillor says sironko NRM MPs would have reminded the president to fulfil the pledges instead of wasting time and tax payer’s money on fuel to say more lies.

Maniaku francis Kyegulo an FDC mobiliser from Budadiri East explains that for 30years president Museveni has been breeding on lies and unfulfilled pledges, citing the Women fund which he says has not benefited any woman to date.  

Magumba amza Bruhan the FDC Chairperson of Budadiri town council says that president Museveni should first ask for forgiveness from sironko residents for the perennial unfulfilled pledges.

meanwhile speaking from Elgon fm yesterday, Budadiri East legislator Vincent Waboya says FDC members should join the organising committee in preparing for the warm welcome of the visitors, promising to remind the president to work on the pledges.

The Sironko Residents District Commissioner Mr. Kigai Moses wamoto affirms that security is beefed up and celebrations will start as early as 9am at Masaba SS grounds

The method is called "recomposing" and claims to be cheaper and more environmentally friendly than traditional burial or cremation. It involves rapidly decomposing a body and converting the remains into soil. That nutrient-rich material can then be used to grow trees, flowers, and other new life. Sironko district NRM councillors and L.III chairpersons yesterday abstained from a consultation rally convened by area woman member of parliament Hon Nambozo Florence Mayonga on a contentious age limit constitutional amendment. They accuse the Member of Parliament for reaching out only to people who are known to be in support for the amendment of article 102(B) of the National constitution, which will inturn allow the incumbent president of Uganda His excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to contest again for presidency in 2021 if its successfully amended by Parliament. Article 102(B) of Uganda national constitution states that aperson above the age of 75 is not eligible to contest for presidency.
