COVID-19: 11 More Truck Drivers Test Positive



As Uganda struggles to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, the new diseases seem not to be ending soon, according to the most recent information released by the ministry of health, it indicates that eleven11 cases have been found and all are truck drivers coming into the country from the different border points.

six(6) of the new cases are Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula Border post and five(5) Kenyan truck drivers; three(3) arrived via Malaba and two(2) arrived via Busia 

at the moment the total Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Uganda  now stands at seventy-four (74) and a total COVID-19 recoveries in Uganda are at forty-six (46) and the active cases stand at 28 without any deaths registered.
